Warren High School is looking for artists from all media (music, dance, thespians....) and small business owners to attend the Fine Arts Career Expo on 2nd October where you can mentor students on how you got into art, what it took to be in the position you are in today, what courses to consider at college etc..

Loopy Connections will be there with our community quilt project and our volunteers will be talking about their artistic careers many of whom work in corporate America

Loopy Connections returned to the Boys and Girls Club of Illinois today at Learn 10 in North Chicago.

Today's class was all about weaving.

We had a special guest who kindly demonstrated weaving cloth on a loom and everyone got to have a go💜

Fiona demonstrated the Japanese Kumihimo technique on a Marudai loom and the students wove their own braids on a foam disc that are like portable Marudai looms.

We had such a blast!!
