The Wandering Hours are a band that’s as much fun to hang with as they are ridiculously good at what they do! Drawing from folk traditions and metamodern thinking alike, they weave together thoughtful lyrics and sharp storytelling, with subject matter ranging from the perpetuity of time to some good ol’ drinking songs. Banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar, and upright bass bring it all to life, courtesy of this Florida-based crew.

They were named Creative Loafing Tampa’s Best of the Bay Bluegrass Band in 2024, adding to three previous BotB wins. They’ve toured the East Coast, shared bills with national acts like the Del McCoury Band, Leftover Salmon, and Railroad Earth, and played festivals including Gasparilla Music Festival, Florida Folk Festival, Sunshine Get Down, Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival, Riverhawk, and a whole myriad of bluegrass festivals. In 2026, they took the DIY spirit overseas, booking and playing their own tour of Ireland.

This is the third in this series - a creative, experiential evening that will have you humming, singing, laughing, learning, and feeling the power of human connection.

Together, with guidance of acclaimed jazz vocalist, storyteller, sacred chanter and holistic arts practitioner Fred Johnson, we'll combine the positive energy in our personal and collective lives to cultivate connection, inspiration and possibility.

We’ll provide the voter lists and postcards, all you need to bring is at least 10 postcard stamps (more if you can!). Spend an energizing evening connecting with like-minded neighbors and taking action on the issues that matter to you.

Season 1 is coming to a close — and Myiah Pink is bringing us home.

This Tuesday, September 22, I’m sitting down with Myiah Pink — artist, creative director, brand stylist, entrepreneur, and community builder — for the Season 1 finale of the Artist Bridge to Abundance Podcast.

Myiah’s creative life doesn’t fit neatly into one box, and neither does our conversation.

We talk about building a life around creativity, spirituality and intuition in her artwork, creating multiple streams of income, the importance of community, knowing when a piece of art is meant for someone — and the freedom to call yourself an artist without feeling guilty about it.
