💡✨ LIGHTS ON AFTER SCHOOL! ✨💡

Tomorrow is national lights on after school!

Feel free to leave a comment below letting us know what GCC BASC means to you and your family!! ✏🖍 💜💙💚

This day shines a light on the importance of quality after school programs and the incredible impact they have on children, families, and our community as well as all over the country! 💛

At Guilford Center for Children, we believe that learning, growing, and making meaningful connections don't stop when the school day ends!

Our Before & After School Care (BASC) programs provide children with a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can:

🌟 Build friendships and strengthen social skills

🎨 Explore creativity through hands-on activities

🤝 Develop confidence, independence, and teamwork

⚽ Stay active, play, and discover new interests

❤️ Feel supported, valued, and connected

After school programs are more than just childcare. They are an essential part of a thriving community, providing working families with dependable care while giving children opportunities to learn, grow, and simply be kids!

Every child deserves a safe place to go, caring adults to guide them, and opportunities to shine.

💡 Together, let's keep the lights on afterschool for ALL children!

Can you believe this is what GCC Early Education Program used to look like?! 👀

As we count down to our 55th anniversary celebration, we're taking a little trip down memory lane!

Before our Early Education building became the school we know and love today, it was a pair of historic barns on Stone House Lane.

In 2010, those barns were transformed into a space that has since welcomed generations of Guilford children to learn, play, make friends, and grow together.

And that's just one chapter of GCC's story! From our Early Education classrooms to GCC Before and After School Care Program, GCC has spent 55 years growing alongside the children and families of Guilford.

Do you remember GCC Early Ed before the move to Stone House Lane when we were located on Park Street? Were you part of our early years in the new building? We'd love to hear your memories!

Join us on October 22 as we celebrate 55 Years of Growing Together at GCC!
