🧡 THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE! 🧡

The 4th Grade Community Service Committee is teaming up with the Guilford Food Bank to support their Holiday Meal Program, and we would love your help!

🥫 How to Participate: Bring non perishable food donations to the collection boxes in the school lobby now through November 13th!

🍂 Most Needed Items:
• Canned chicken
• Tuna
• Canned corn and peas
• Cranberry sauce
• Stuffing
• Hearty soups
• Baked beans
• Tomato products
• Black tea

🍦 A little friendly competition! The grade that collects the most items will win a popsicle party!

Let’s come together as a school community to spread kindness, generosity, and a little extra Thanksgiving cheer. Every donation makes a difference! 🧡

Camryn Summa-Barbour is a fourth grader at Guilford Lakes. She is a leukemia survivor and has been an active advocate for childhood cancer organizations. She is currently in the running for a huge honor with Stan Lee’s Super Kid Competition... she's made it from one of hundreds of kids to now almost making it to the quarterfinals!

🔬 Make Science Come Alive for Your Child! 🧪

Looking for a fun and meaningful way to be part of your child’s learning? Become a Science Investigation volunteer!

All it takes is a 30-minute training session where we’ll walk you through the lesson. No science background or experience needed! We provide the materials and show you everything you need to know. Training is Friday 10/23 starting at 9:00.

After training, you’ll team up with other parent volunteers to coordinate a time to bring the lesson into your child’s classroom. It’s a wonderful opportunity to spark curiosity, encourage hands-on learning, and share in the excitement of discovery!
