Good morning,

The staff at FMS has been working with students on a mid-year reset. After speaking with staff, the FMS PTA has put together an Amazon Wish List of supplies teachers need for our students. If you are able to help, we would appreciate it. We understand that this is a bit different, but sometimes it takes a village to support our kids.

As always, thank you for your continued support!!

HELP NEEDED!!

On December 4th and 5th FMS will be holding In-Service Days - a new school wide program. The goal is to help students practice and internalize our Core Strengths: Respect, Perseverance, Responsibility, Curiosity, and Community Service. On these two days. all students will participate in a 40-minute service project of their choice during their regular PE class.
They will be choosing from:

Brick Project: Students who have submitted an approved design will be assigned a brick in one of our hallways, and will begin painting.

Character Building: Student and community representatives will lead our students in activities meant to encourage self esteem and create a sense of community and belonging.

Community Cards: Students will create seasonal cards complete with meaningful messages for the elderly in our community and troops stationed overseas.

School Cleaning: Students will take responsibility for our common spaces and classrooms by cleaning, organizing, and otherwise helping keep our school healthy.

Repair Shop: Students will create original items for members of our school community, and fix our broken furniture too!
