📚 Day #34 of 180 Days of Hope: Building Bridges, Strengthening Partnerships! 🤝

The best part of my day was seeing our HPA parents come out for Parent-Teacher Conferences! It was a wonderful opportunity for parents and teachers to come together, discuss our scholars’ progress, and work as a team to help them succeed.

Thank you to every parent who took the time to show up and every teacher who poured into these conversations. When parents and teachers work together, our scholars WIN! 💚

🎓 Day #33 of 180 Days of HOPE!… FAFSA Night: Funding Dreams, Building Futures!

The best part of my day was seeing our HPA seniors and their parents come together for FAFSA Night! There’s nothing like seeing families take important steps toward making college dreams a reality!

At HPA, we’re not just preparing our scholars to graduate; we’re preparing them for what comes NEXT! A special shout out to the amazing staff from Lake Sumter State College who came out to assist our HPA families through the FAFSA process. Your time, patience, and support are truly appreciated! One application, one opportunity, and one bright future at a time!

⭐️ Day #32 of 180 Days of Hope: A Heart to Serve, A Passion to Lead! 🌟

The best part of my day is seeing our HPA Key Club scholars do what Key Club members do best……SERVE! These amazing scholars took time out of their weekend to volunteer at the Latin Festival, proving that service doesn’t stop when the school week ends!

They showed up, gave their time, and demonstrated what it truly means to have a servant’s heart. As their principal, I couldn’t be prouder of these scholars for putting service into action and making a difference in our community! Keep shining, scholars! 🌟

Congratulations to HPA Scholar-Athletes Frank Scott (Class of 2031 - 8th grade) and Jailen Norwood (Class of 2030 - 9th Grade) for passing the PERT Exam and becoming eligible for Dual Enrollment!

These young men now have the opportunity to begin earning college credits while still in middle and high school through Lake-Sumter State College. We are incredibly proud of them for getting a head start on their future!

This is what it means to Educate. Elevate. Empower. 🎓

🧑Day # 31 of 180 Days!…..Parent involvement at its BEST! 👨🏽

The best part of my day was seeing our parents come together for an amazing Parental Involvement Workshop on Online Safety and Digital Citizenship! This workshop was truly informative as our parents learned about the good, the bad, and the ugly of digital media and its impact on our children.

A special thank you to Pastor Winston Simon for facilitating such an informative and eye opening workshop! Our parents thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and the positive feedback was overwhelming!

Thank you to Mrs. Hayes for caring for our scholars, allowing our parents to fully participate, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversations.

Tonight was a wonderful reminder that parental involvement goes beyond the classroom. When parents are informed and involved, our scholars benefit!
