Mayor Lokken and Grove City CARE Director, Andrea Dallmann, hosted the Meeker in Motion cohort this morning at South Grove Square. Attendees learned about the many services provided by the CARE program and a tour was provided of the independent senior living facility. Meeker in Motion is a 9 month community leadership development program in Meeker County run by the Litchfield Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the University of Minnesota Extension.

Our Octoberfest Fundraiser is on Sunday. We have exciting news! Michael Sordahl will be our DJ playing Octoberfest themed music… polka music! We know there are a lot of polka dancers out there, so come on out and let’s polka!
Also, Jenna Fitzgerald is joining us for face painting, all ages welcome! A special thank you to Michael and Jenna 😊
