A lasting legacy of generosity, friendship, and commitment to the Junior League of Detroit.

The Junior League of Detroit mourns the passing of Richard Manoogian, a cherished friend and longtime supporter of our League.

For decades, Richard and his wife, Jane, generously supported the Junior League and its mission. Their commitment to the Designers’ Show House, along with numerous other League initiatives, helped make it possible for our members to turn ideas into meaningful action and strengthen the communities we serve.

Richard’s generosity was more than support for individual projects—it was an investment in the women of the Junior League and in the lasting impact of their service.

We are deeply grateful for Richard and Jane’s enduring friendship, generosity, and belief in the Junior League of Detroit. His legacy will live on through the work he helped make possible and the many lives touched by his generosity.

Awesome job to Sherry McRill, one of our Sustainers, for sitting down with the station and speaking about this wonderful event.

Be sure to check out all seven kitchens on the final day today! We hope to see you there! ❤️
