Yesterday was a day filled with gratitude, friendship, and purpose. ⛳️❤️
As Secretary and a proud Board Member of the Grosse Pointe Crisis Club, I was honored to be part of our annual Kotcher’s Kapers Golf Outing. Seeing so many people come together to support an organization that has been serving individuals and families in crisis since 1956 was truly heartwarming.
The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful, the golf course was outstanding, the steak dinner was absolutely delicious, and the laughter, fellowship, and friendships shared throughout the day made it an event to remember.
For nearly 70 years, the Grosse Pointe Crisis Club has quietly helped individuals and families facing life’s most difficult moments, providing assistance when other resources have been exhausted. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, members, and supporters who continue to believe in our mission.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated, sponsored the outing, and brought guests. Your generosity and support allow us to continue making a real difference in the lives of those experiencing crisis.
A very special thank you to my fellow St. Clair Shores Councilman Ron Frederick and his wife for joining us, and to our Mayor, Kip Walby, for attending and supporting this wonderful event. Your presence and encouragement meant so much.
A huge thank you to Shelley Szymborski. As one of our newest members, Shelley gave so generously of her time and energy to help make this event a success. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and willingness to jump in wherever needed did not go unnoticed. We are truly blessed to have you as part of our Crisis Club family.
To Dr. Tim DeMeulenaere our event coordinator, thank you for the countless hours of planning and hard work that made the entire outing run so smoothly. Your leadership and attention to every detail were evident from start to finish, and we are incredibly grateful.
Finally, thank you to all of my fellow Crisis Club members who worked so hard behind the scenes and to everyone who came out to support this wonderful cause. Days like yesterday are a beautiful reminder of what can be accomplished when people come together with compassionate hearts and a desire to help others.
I am incredibly proud to serve as Secretary of this amazing organization and to be part of a group of dedicated men and women who have been changing lives for nearly seven decades.
Thank you to everyone who made this year’s golf outing such a tremendous success. Together, we continue bringing hope to those who need it most. ❤️⛳
