The Battenkill YMCA crew had an amazing time relaunching the Whipple City 5K and Kid's Fun run to raise funds for our Annual Campaign which supports programs like Livestrong and membership scholarships.

Word cannot express how grateful we our for the the Battenkill YMCA's community!

We are thrilled to share that thanks to your incredible generosity, the Saratoga Regional YMCA’s LIVESTRONG Luncheon raised $45,000!

Every dollar raised directly supports cancer survivors in our community, offering them a safe, supportive space to reclaim their health, strength, and confidence. 💛 🖤 While the 12-week LIVESTRONG program is completely free to participants, it costs $1,000 to sponsor one survivor through the journey.

This beautiful afternoon wouldn’t have been possible without the powerful voices and dedicated partners in our community. We want to extend a special congratulations and thank you to:

The Glens Falls YMCA officially reopens tomorrow, May 21 at 5:00 AM! 🎉💙

We’re excited to welcome everyone back and reconnect through the routines, friendships, and sense of community that make the Y so special.

Thank you to our members for your patience and support throughout the closure as Phase 1 of our Capital Project renovations was completed. We’re excited for what’s ahead as improvements continue over the coming months.

We’d also like to thank our incredible Glens Falls staff for keeping the community engaged throughout the closure through “Y Without Walls” with outdoor workouts, hikes, kickball, and more. Your dedication helped keep our community connected these past two weeks.

We can’t wait to see everyone back at the branch tomorrow!

🏀 Battle of the Northway Championship 🏀

The top teams from our Saratoga Springs and Glens Falls branches faced off in an exciting championship game!

The Saratoga Springs Blue Team finished undefeated all season, while the Glens Falls Red Team lost only one game all year. Both teams played hard and represented their branches with great sportsmanship.

Congratulations to the Saratoga Springs Blue Team on winning the Battle of the Northway! 🎉

Great job to both teams — we can’t wait for the next Battle of the Northway at the Glens Falls Branch! 🏀
