This afternoon, the GYC had the amazing opportunity to tour the Greenwich Fire 12834 Public! A HUGE thank you to firefighter Nick Marci (better known to the kids as “Mr. Awesome)for taking the time to show us around.

The kids got an up-close look at the fire station, learned about the different types of fire trucks, the equipment they carry, and even had the chance to climb inside the trucks! They also learned about firefighters’ gear and were excited to try some of it on!

It was an unforgettable experience filled with learning, excitement, and smiles. We are so grateful to the Greenwich Fire Department for everything they do to keep our community safe. Thank you for making today so special!

Hello GYC Members,

We're excited to celebrate the last week of school with a week full of fun at the GYC! The week of Monday, June 22 – Thursday, June 25, GYC will be open for half days starting at 11:30 AM and will remain open until 5:30 PM.

We’ll have plenty of games, crafts, activities, outdoor fun, and splash pad time! Be sure to send your child with a bathing suit and towel. These can stay at GYC during the week and head home for the weekend. Members should bring their own lunch each day. If you need any help with lunch arrangements, please email me, we’re happy to help!

To celebrate an awesome school year, we'll wrap up the week with a GYC Members-Only BBQ on our last day, featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, and snacks for everyone to enjoy.

Had a lot of fun last week at the GYC! We made slime, learned how to make marshmallow fruit dip, root beer floats, enjoying a lot of the nice weather and helped with the fun run! 🤍💚

Looking for some summer fun? Join us from August 3–August 21 for the Greenwich Youth Center's Summer Program! We'll be open Monday–Wednesday from 8:30 AM–2:00 PM with games, crafts, movies, recreation, splash pad fun, field trips, and more!

Kids will make new friends, build teamwork and confidence, and create awesome summer memories along the way!

Here’s what’s going on this month at the GYC! From June 22-June 25 our hours will change to 11-5:30, to accommodate the half days!

Our official summer schedule will start June 29, where will be open to MEMBERS from 2:30-5:00.

Lace up your sneakers and join us for a fun-filled morning!
Next Saturday, June 6th, the Saratoga Regional YMCA will be hosting the Whipple City 5K, featuring a special Kids Run starting at 9:00 AM.

The Greenwich Youth Center team will be there to guide and cheer on all participants, helping kids safely and confidently make their way through the course while having a great time along the way. Whether your child loves to run or just wants to be part of an exciting community event, we’d love to see them there!

Hope everyone had an amazing 4 day weekend! Last week at the GYC was a BLAST.

We did watercolor galaxy painting, saw some of our plants start to sprout, made s’mores parfaits, and we had a chance to walk to Saratoga Regional YMCA, and meet with Coach Liz, doing obstacle course races and fitness based games! We really appreciate the YMCA for always showing the kids how to include play into fitness🤍
