Today, we are thrilled to salute our Program Director, Mom Cortrina Smith. Mom Cortrina is a dedicated educational leader who serves as an elementary school principal, where she works closely with staff, students, and families to support academic success and create a positive learning environment for all learners. She is passionate about instructional leadership, student growth, and building strong school communities that empower children to reach their full potential. In addition to her professional responsibilities, she has been an active member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Eastern North Carolina Chapter, since 2018, where she contributes to programs that support youth development, leadership, and community service.
Cortrina is also a devoted wife to Raymond Smith, Jr. and a proud mother of Jacks Myles and Maxwell.

We are thrilled to spotlight Foundation Chair, Mom Bevley W. Green! A member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. since 2014, Bevley was initiated into the Mobile Chapter before relocating to Eastern North Carolina.
Throughout her decade of service in Jack and Jill, Mom Bevley has held numerous leadership roles, including serving the Mobile chapter as Recording Secretary, Parliamentarian, and Age Group Sponsor for the "Busy Bees." She has also chaired the By-laws, Nominating, and Beautillion Biographies committees. She currently serves as the Foundation Chair and the Age Group Leader for "Great Fortune."
Professionally, Mom Bevley is the Director of Student Professional Readiness at East Carolina University. With over 25 years of experience in higher education, she is an expert in career services, experiential learning, and student success. She holds a B.S. in Speech Communication and an M.S. in Counseling and Human Development from Radford University. She is also a Diamond Life Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., further reflecting her lifelong dedication to scholarship, service, and social action.
Mom Bevley is supported in her mission by her husband, Dr. Andre M. Green, and their children, Jack AJ and Jill Lauren.

Today, we recognize our Energetic Editor, Uconda Dunn. Uconda serves at the Vice President of Business and Workforce Solutions with Pitt Community College. She works with local industries to ensure training opportunities for existing workforce while continuing to create training programs for a skilled workforce. CE Uconda also works with local small businesses to support development.

Mom Sharon is a seasoned cybersecurity expert with over 20 years of experience in application security, threat intelligence, and incident response, specializing in protecting critical infrastructure and sensitive data across diverse platforms. Proven track record in implementing robust security measures, conducting vulnerability assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate cyber risks in higher education environments.

Today we celebrate our Vigilant Vice President Kelli Pack Smith. Kelli serves as the system Vice President for the ECU Health Medical Affairs Office. ECU Health is an 8-hospital, 9-campus health system that serves the mostly rural eastern 29 counties of North Carolina. She is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a BS in Biology and the University of Alabama at Birmingham with an MPH in Infectious Disease Epidemiology and International Health. She is also certified as a health care executive and a professional in medical services management. Kelli has a particular interest in addressing health disparities related to access to care with a goal of improving the health and well-being of eastern North Carolina. CVP Kelli has been with ECU
Health since 1999, having moved to Greenville after working in the Longitudinal Study on Astronaut Health Office at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. Kelli is a member of the church of Christ in Winterville, a 30+ year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a Charter member (and current Vice President) of the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of Jack and Jill of America. Mom Kelli also serves on several community boards including Pitt County Board of Health. In her free time, Kelli enjoys exercising and spending time with her husband of 26 years, Dr. Anthony Smith.
