Success!! We had our first rehearsal yesterday evening at MacGregor Downs Rehab facility. We had six wonderful people attend and sing. It was a moving experience. Some of the residents came out into the hall to listen to us rehearse. We could feel the heart of what we are getting started. This will only grow as more people hear what we are doing and join. We will start singing bedside as soon as we are comfortable with enough songs. Thank you to all who attended. What a wonderful start!!

Hi everyone!
I am stepping in to fill this Sunday’s service, September 1, at the Unitarian Universalist Congretion of Greenville, NC. The speaker is postponing due to the death of a friend.
I will be speaking about the Threshold Choir! If you are interested in the choir, come listen in on Sunday. Lots of good information for everyone. Hope to see you there. We’ll be singing a few of the songs from the Threshold Choir’s 400+ song library.

One Choir, Many Voices

Singing gently at the thresholds of life in over 200 communities around the world.

The voice is the perfect vehicle to convey compassion and comfort at the bedsides of people who are at a threshold; some with living, some with dying.

When invited, we send two to four singers who offer soft, simple, restful songs to comfort, support and honor those at the thresholds of life, as well as their families and caregivers.

The Threshold Choir gives singers opportunities to offer their voices in service, to develop confidence and leadership and to create community in the deepest sense.

In over 200 communities worldwide, we offer bedside singing as our gift, at no charge.
