💜 Thank You for Making Our First Walk to Remember So Special 💜
Today, we held our very first Walk to Remember, and our hearts are so full. What started as a vision to create a space for families to honor and remember their babies became a beautiful morning filled with love, remembrance, connection, and healing.
To every family who joined us today, thank you for showing up and for allowing us to be part of your stories. Seeing the remembrance signs, knowing the stories behind so many of them, and watching families come together to honor their babies was incredibly moving. Every baby represented today is loved, remembered, and forever part of their family’s story.
To our incredible volunteers, thank you for giving your time, energy, and hearts to make this day possible. From the planning and preparation to the setup, check-in, and all the little things that happened behind the scenes, we could not have done this without you!
Thank you to our vendors, food trucks, community partners, and everyone who contributed their time, services, and support. We are also incredibly grateful for the generous donations we received from those who believe in our mission and want to help us continue supporting families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference and helps us continue this work in our community. Your generosity means more than you know.
And to everyone who encouraged us, shared our posts, helped spread the word, and supported this event in any way, thank you. It takes a community to create something like this, and we are so grateful for ours.
As we reflect on today, we are reminded why Hope in the Waiting exists. Pregnancy and infant loss can be an incredibly lonely journey, but no family should have to navigate it feeling alone. Today, we came together to honor lives that will always matter and to remind every family that their babies will never be forgotten.
This walk was a labor of love, and we hope it brought even a little comfort and healing to those who attended. We are already carrying so many special moments from today in our hearts.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us make our first Walk to Remember a reality. We are honored to walk alongside this community, and we look forward to continuing to serve families in the days, months, and years ahead.
