If you wish to see a specific cat, dog, or rabbit please email [email protected]. All animals do not attend every adoption event because they are in foster homes and we must arrange for their transportation to either the PAWS Center or the Greenfield PetSmart for an adoption event. 🐾💜 SWEET STORY SUNDAY 💜🐾

Sometimes, the best things in life happen when you least expect them, and for Addison, a little dogsitting adventure turned into something truly special! 🐶✨

For a long time, Addison dreamed of having a Husky. So when Jen Taylor, P.A.W.S.’ Dog Program Lead, mentioned that they had some Husky puppies who needed a dogsitter while she was out of town, Addison jumped at the opportunity. With her parents’ permission, she agreed to help out, never knowing that this little dogsitting adventure would lead her straight to the dog she had always dreamed of. ❤️

And the rest is history!

When Ayla first came into Addison’s life, she was a tiny, somewhat timid Husky mix. Fast-forward one year, and just look at her! 😍 Ayla has grown into a beautiful, fun-loving and incredibly happy Husky girl with a spunky personality that makes Addison smile every single day.

One of Ayla’s funniest quirks? She LOVES getting up on Addison’s bed… but sometimes isn’t quite sure how to get back down! 😂🐾

But Ayla has become so much more than a pet. She’s Addison’s companion, her daily reason to smile, and her very best friend. 💕

Looking back on her adoption journey, Addison is so grateful that she was given the chance to meet Ayla, and that her longtime dream of having a Husky came true through adoption.

Her advice to anyone considering adoption is simple:

💜 “Give it a try, you will be surprised how it turns out!”

Ayla’s story is such a beautiful reminder that sometimes, a little time spent caring for a dog can lead to a lifetime of love. 🐾❤️

We need helping hands TOMORROW, Sunday October 11th starting at 12pm! 💚🛠️

P.A.W.S. is getting new flooring in our retail store, storage room, and office, and we need volunteers to help move items, remove carpeting, and prepare the space.

🐶 No special skills needed, just a willingness to help!

These little ones need somewhere to crash while they wait for their spay and neuter appointments in November! They are adorable, friendly, and looking for a temporary foster home to love and care for them while they wait.

🐾💜 BECOME A CATNIP COURIER! 💜🐾

Did you know P.A.W.S. provides our famous catnip bags to local businesses to sell, with proceeds helping support our rescue animals? 🐱💕

We LOVE making these catnip bags, and we love even more being able to share them with the community while raising money for the animals who need us most!

But we need your help! 🐾

We’re looking for a few Catnip Couriers to adopt a local catnip bag route. Your job is simple:

🐾 Pick up catnip bags from our P.A.W.S. center
🐾 Stop by businesses on your route and replenish their catnip bag supply
🐾 Pick up money and take it back to our P.A.W.S. center
🐾 Help keep this little fundraiser running!

The best part? You can do it on your own time! 🙌 It’s an easy, flexible way to volunteer and make a difference for P.A.W.S. animals.

We couldn’t let today pass without celebrating someone who has been such a special part of the P.A.W.S. family! 🐾

Renee has given so much of her time, heart, and support to P.A.W.S. over the years; from serving as Board President to fostering, volunteering at events, advocating for the organization, and always being there when animals needed her.

Thank you, Renee, for all you’ve done and for the lasting impact you’ve made. We hope you have the happiest birthday and a wonderful year ahead! 🎂🎊

🐾❤️ SWEET STORY SUNDAY: HAPPY TAILS EDITION! ❤️🐾

When Flory first brought Wheeler home, he was meant to be a companion for her husband, who was quite ill. A seven-year-old Whippet, Wheeler was nervous and hesitant to go anywhere, but it didn’t take long for him to show his sweet side, he was a natural cuddler. 🥰

After Flory’s husband passed away, Wheeler became her companion, too. He began curling up beside her in bed and has brought her an incredible amount of love and comfort. One of Flory’s favorite things about Wheeler is how happy he is to see her. Those warm eyes seem to look right into her soul.❤️And Wheeler has a quirky little habit that makes her smile -> he sleeps with one arm stretched straight up in the air! 🐾😂

Over the past year, Wheeler has become much more confident and friendly. Once nervous around people, he now happily loves on everyone during his regular visits to Flory’s office, the fire department, and the farmers market.
Wheeler has even discovered that he’s quite the athlete! During a rainy hiking trip in the Smoky Mountains, he seemed to look back at Flory as if to say, “Really? We’re hiking in this?” 😂 But he persevered, hiking an incredible 10 miles before climbing into Flory’s lap for a well-earned nap. 🥹❤️

For Flory, Wheeler has become so much more than a pet. He is a source of companionship, comfort, laughter, and unconditional love. What began as a companion for her husband has grown into a beautiful bond that continues to bring joy to Flory’s life every single day. 🐾❤️

Happy Tails, Wheeler! We’re so happy you found your forever home and the person who needed you just as much as you needed her. 🏡🐶❤️
