The application for the Evan Neumeister Memorial Scholarship is now open to the applicants of the 2026 SCTFD Fire Academy. We are excited to offer full tuition for a new recruit in honor and memory of our Evan. There is a link to a google form in the comments. 2026 FIRE ACADEMY REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

’s yearly fire academy is now open for registration.

This program is held to a high standard within the fire service and is designed to prepare students to perform from day one. With experienced instructors, top-tier equipment, and access to premier training facilities, our goal is simple: produce firefighters who are ready to hit the street.

This will be our 7th class in 6 years, and every class has sold out. If you’re interested, we strongly encourage you to register early.

Class Details:
Cost: $1,500 (includes gear rental, resources, and tuition)
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1800–2200
Dates: August 4, 2026 – December 8, 2026
Scholarships available (contact listed on flyer)

Certifications include:
Hazardous Materials Awareness
Hazardous Materials Operations
Firefighter I
Firefighter II

Important Note:
This class is not associated with our recent hiring process, and completion of certifications does not guarantee employment with Sugar Creek Township Fire Department.

We are so excited to be able to help Greenfield Fire Territory! Evan's Foundation has more planned for 2026. Stay tuned!

The Greenfield Fire Academy would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Evan Neumeister Memorial Foundation Inc. for their generous support.

Thanks to their contribution, the Fire Academy was able to purchase 12 Nomex hoods and 12 pairs of structural firefighting gloves, helping ensure our recruits train with safe, modern, and professional grade equipment.

Support like this directly impacts the quality of training we can provide and honors the spirit of service and dedication that Evan represented. We are truly grateful for their continued commitment to firefighter education and safety.
