💚💛 GMS PTSA: Stronger Together! 🐻

Our October 13th PTSA meeting was a huge success, with over 60 attendees in person and virtually! 🎉 We were honored to welcome Playtime Project, GMS Student Government Association (SGA), and GMS staff for meaningful discussions about student success, safety, family engagement, and strengthening our school community.

👏 Thank you to everyone who showed up and made their voices heard!

📅 NEXT MEETING: Tuesday, November 10th
💻 VIRTUAL ONLY

🎯 October brought 60+ attendees. Can we reach 100 in November?

Our students need more than our support—they need our involvement! Every voice, every idea, and every family matters.

📣 Show up. Speak up. Bring another parent. Let's turn conversations into action!

🐻 CONNECT • SUPPORT • EMPOWER • CELEBRATE

🎉 Our First PTSA Meeting Was a Success!

Thank you to all of the parents, guardians, staff, and community members who joined us for our first Greenbelt Middle School PTSA meeting of the 2026–2027 school year!

We had a great conversation about our goals for the year — CONNECT • SUPPORT • EMPOWER • CELEBRATE — along with ways we can support our students and staff, increase family engagement, volunteer, fundraise, and build a stronger GMS community together. 💚💛🐻

We hope that you can join us on June 8 for our restaurant night fundraiser at the Silver Diner in Greenbelt from 5-9pm! The Silver Diner will donate 20% of all sales greater than normal for a Monday night to the GMS PTSA. That will help us to cover costs for an end-of-year party that we're hosting at the school to thank and celebrate our teachers and staff. The money will also help the PTSA start next year with more funds for our efforts :-).

We want to thank our hardworking teachers and staff for all of the work that they do for our children, so the PTSA is organizing a lunch with music and games on June 11 to celebrate them!
Can you help with food/game donations or volunteer to help with cleanup at 2pm? Please visit our PerfectPotluck page below if so. Thank you to all of the GMS families for your support!
