Our monthly meetings will resume in September, but our community service projects will continue. Library gardens, historic triangle, and Headstart butterfly gardens, oh my! Some of us are even headed to Camp Wekiva to volunteer.

When you support the GCGCS, your funds go to many community service projects including maintaining the gardens at the Green Cove Springs library, Clay County Head Start, and the Historic Triangle. We also present plants and trees to new Clay County Habitat for Humanity homeowners throughout the year.

We sponsor campers for FFGC Wekiva Youth Camp and give out college scholarships. At our April meeting, we presented a $1,000 scholarship to Clay High School student, Abigail Turner.
