GREEN COVE SPRINGS – City and church officials promoted unity at Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrations Monday with fiery speeches, songs and a cello performance. The weather was frigid, but about 40 people braved the cold at Vera Francis Hall Park.

Arbor Day 2017 Proclamation was presented to Mrs. Sandra Royal on January 10, council meeting.

The celebration of Arbor Day will be held at the Augusta Savage Arts & Community Center on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. where a Crepe Myrtle tree will be planted. Everyone's welcome!
