At the Taproom & Bourbon Bar of Rosatis First Annual Car Show handing out Activity Cars to the kiddos, and telling the kiddos Rick's Toybox, Inc. will buy their first car now - BUT, mom and dad will have to buy their second one when they turn 16!!! Oh, and pay for their college education...

Happy Friday !!! This puts a nice finish on a busy week in the shop. This wouldn't be possible without my team of dedicated volunteers and donors.

Happy Monday kiddos in Marquette Park Neighborhood Association GB ! Alex is once again making special deliveries of Rick's Toybox Activity Cars in our neighborhood...If you see him making his route you better check him out!!!!

Playing the 'Welcome Wagon' at the new Regional State Patrol Office in Wrightstown, WI yesterday, by putting a box of our Activity Cars in their cruisers. Now they're set to fill the needs of a child when they see a need to be filled.

This morning I visited Lauren Vanden Heuvel, a Certified Child Life Specialist at HSHS St. Vincent Children's Hospital/Prevea Health, to drop off a case of our Activity Cars and some games and puzzles from our "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader" program. Then our volunteer Bobbie, who does the packaging of crayons, took our broken crayons and melted them down and poured them in forms of little cars. So the kiddos now have crayons in the shape of little cars to use to color the cars. With Bobbie's help we took this project to the next level. Coloring cars with cars...now how cool is that!
All of us at Rick's Toybox, Inc. wish each one of the kiddos best wishes in their journey back to good health. I hope the added surprise for the special caregivers puts a smile on their faces also.

We had a special guest this afternoon visit the shop. Firefighter Lt. Adam with the Green Bay Metro Fire Department. We gave him a few games and puzzles from our "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader" program to bring back to the station for some brain teasers to use on their off time. Just want to keep them on their toes.

This morning I stopped in at my favorite Kwik Trip and ran into an officer from the Wisconsin State Patrol. I gave her a box of our Activity Cars to carry in her cruiser, so if she sees a need she can fill the need.

The latest puzzle addition to our "Are You Smarter Than Fifth Grader" program. Our volunteer Gary makes this look easy, but trust me, it's a lot more difficult than it looks.
