Dear Supporter,
As we approach the close of 2024, it is with a mixture of heartfelt gratitude and a touch of sadness that I write to you today. After a decade of service to our beloved community, Christie's Uplifting Hands will be closing its doors. This decision was not made lightly, but it comes with immense pride for all that we have achieved together.
Over the last 10 years, we have touched countless lives and made a lasting impact through our various initiatives. Together, we have:
Awarded scholarships to deserving students, empowering them to pursue their dreams and build brighter futures.
Hosted food drives and clothes drives, ensuring families in need had essentials to sustain them through challenging times.
Organized Soup Day for the Elders, bringing warmth, nourishment, and companionship to our cherished senior community members.
Prepared children for success with our Back-to-School events, providing supplies, encouragement, and hope.
Spread joy with our Ice Cream Socials, reminding us all of the importance of simple pleasures and community bonding.
Delivered meals to the sick and shut-in, showing compassion through our food distribution program, ensuring no one was forgotten.
Partnered with community churches and organizations to amplify our efforts and extend our reach, making every success a shared victory.
Hosted Christmas Gifting for Children, bringing smiles and holiday cheer to families in need.
These accomplishments were conducted both domestically and internationally, reflecting our commitment to making a global impact.
None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our leaders, volunteers, donors, and every member of this community who believed in our mission. Your unwavering support and generosity have been the backbone of Christie's Uplifting Hands.
As we reflect on these incredible accomplishments, we also look forward with hope, knowing the spirit of service will continue to thrive in new ways. Though our organization may close, the seeds we have planted together will continue to grow in the lives we’ve touched and the legacy we leave behind.
