Inspired by the teachings of the Bahá’í Faith, the Community Empowerment Program in Mount Rainier, MD invites individuals from all backgrounds and age levels to work together to bring to life the principles of justice, unity, and peace through study, action, collaboration, and prayer. COMMUNITY-RUN AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Children’s Class (Tuesdays 5:30pm - 7:30pm)

Children ages 5-10 are nurtured

and taught universal virtues and principles that help build character through stories, games, art, and music. Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program (Thursdays 4:30pm - 6:30pm)

Junior Youth ages 11-14 are guided to channel their energies and potential toward serving humanity and improving the world around them through study, service projects, art, and recreation. VOLUNTEER TRAINING

Study Circles (Wednesdays or Thursdays 7:00pm - 8:00pm)

Young people and adults ages 15+ are trained to serve as teachers and positive mentors (known as animators) for those younger than themselves. Condensed Training (Various Weekends)
