Celebrating Flag Day Through Community Pride: The Great Falls REALTOR® Flag Project

Great Falls, Montana — June 14, 2026 at 9am Overlook Park

As our nation celebrates Flag Day, the Great Falls Association of REALTORS® is proud to recognize the continued success and community impact of the REALTOR® Flag Project, a program that has become a visible symbol of patriotism, civic pride, and community service throughout Great Falls.

Each year, hundreds of American flags are proudly displayed across our community through the efforts of local REALTORS®, volunteers, and supporters who believe in honoring our nation's values while investing in the place we call home.

The REALTOR® Flag Project was created to provide residents and businesses an opportunity to display the American flag on significant patriotic holidays while supporting local community initiatives. Beyond the visual beauty of seeing our city lined with American flags, the program serves as a reminder of the freedoms we enjoy and the shared responsibility we have to strengthen our communities.

The Great Falls REALTOR® Flag Project is proud to recognize five outstanding 4th grade students who were awarded prizes for their heartfelt essays submitted for the “What the Flag Means to Me” contest. 🇺🇸

These students shared thoughtful reflections on patriotism, freedom, community, and what the American flag represents to them. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and creativity!

Join us for the Flag Day Ceremony on June 14th, where these young writers will have the special opportunity to read their essays aloud as we celebrate our nation’s flag and the values it represents.

We invite the entire community to attend this meaningful event and help us honor both our flag and the next generation of leaders.

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our nation.
Their bravery and selflessness have protected the freedoms we cherish, and the communities we proudly call home. Here in Great Falls, we are especially mindful of the deep military roots and proud tradition of service that continue to shape our community.
The Great Falls Association of REALTORS® is also proud to serve as a steward of the American Flag through the REALTOR® Flag Project since 1984 — a long-standing tradition that reflects our respect for country, community, and those who sacrificed in defense of both.
As flags wave throughout our city this Memorial Day weekend, may they serve as a visible reminder of gratitude, unity, and remembrance.
