Hoot owl restrictions lifted today for Sun and Smith Rivers.

In response to moderating temperatures, hoot-owl fishing restrictions will be lifted on the Smith and Sun rivers in Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Region 4, effective Aug. 29.
