There’s no single mood in a Hadestown Teen Edition rehearsal. One moment it’s a quiet moment where a performer settles into character between numbers. The next, it’s full-group choreography, where everyone is finding the steps together. We love catching both sides of the process! 🤩

A shipwreck, a set of twins, and a love triangle that gets more tangled by the scene!

Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night is coming to our stage March 2027, and auditions are set! Come with a one-minute Shakespearean monologue and a sense of humor.

Saturday, Sept 19, 2–4pm at Grass Valley Charter School. Callbacks will be Wednesday, Sept 23.

A first for Lyric Rose. Quite possibly a first for Nevada County teen theatre in over a decade.

When we say this is a big deal, we mean it: it’s been over a decade since a teen production in Nevada County has performed with a full live orchestra…and this fall, our HADESTOWN Teen Edition cast gets to be the ones who bring that back! 🎶

That’s real musicians, live in the room, for every performance. For our teen performers, that’s a whole different level of artistry, and for our community, it’s something worth showing up for.
