Great news! We are extending our photo contest deadline to Friday, June 12th. We can’t wait to see Nevada County agriculture through your eyes!

All winners will be featured in the 2027 Nevada County Farm Bureau Raffle Calendar, which raises money to support the Junior livestock exhibitors at the Nevada County Junior livestock Auction.

We welcome photo submissions from our Farm Bureau members, Nevada County residents, or their kids!

This year we’re calling for photos in one of these five categories:

The vote was taken. However our job is still not over. We can help make changes!

Thousands of Protest Letters and 40 heartfelt stories of how this egregious increase impacts the lives of those in Nevada and Placer Counties were heard today.

I requested that bonding measures, grants and reductions in the $135M reserves be leveraged to keep the increase to a reasonable amount.

Also requested that GM Hanson reinstate the oversight committees for Finance and Investment as well as the Ag Stakeholders group to rebuild trust and improve transparency.

Election Day 2026 is Nov 3rd.
