Susquehanna Service Dogs

🐶⛳ While the golfers were chasing birdies, our SSD dogs were busy stealing hearts.

From meeting supporters to soaking up the sunshine, our dogs enjoyed a day on the course at the Keystone Human Services Annual Golf Tournament. Every swing, sponsorship, and conversation helps support programs that make a difference in our communities.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a beautiful day of golf, connection, and impact.

Meet SSD Terracotta, named by Terracon ! This young puppy will go by SSD Terra, which is fitting because “terra” means “earth,” and Terracon provides engineering and environmental services. Thank you, Terracon, for supporting SSD and Terra!

SSD Terra is now with her puppy raiser, busy learning foundational cues like “sit,” “down,” and self-control. She’s absorbing plenty of new experiences to help her become the best assistance dog she can be.

Terra might already have a raiser, but SSD has younger puppies that will be looking for raisers soon. Want to be part of this journey? Sign up on our website: https://www.khs.org/what-we-do/assistance-dogs/become-a-volunteer/

Meet SSD Skyler! She’s in the early stages of her training with her puppy raiser, learning foundational cues like “sit” and “down” and practicing self-control. She gets her name from Qualifacts . Did you know Skyler is the second dog they’ve named? Big thank you to Qualifacts for supporting SSD Skyler and Susquehanna Service Dogs!
