We are excited to share some great news!

Project Turnabout has been awarded $20,000 from SCOPE (Sustainable Change for Opioid Prevention Efforts) Renville County to support the development of a new therapeutic Quiet Room/Calm Room within our High Acuity treatment program.

This funding will help us create a safe, calming, trauma-informed space for individuals receiving substance use disorder treatment who may be experiencing anxiety, emotional distress, cravings, sensory overload, or other challenges during the recovery process.

Grant funds will be used to create and equip the space with therapeutic furnishings, adjustable calming lighting, sensory regulation and grounding tools, weighted blankets, mindfulness and coping resources, recovery-focused activities, and other therapeutic supports. The goal is to give patients and staff additional tools to support emotional regulation, healthy coping skills, crisis prevention, treatment engagement, and long-term recovery.

We are incredibly grateful to SCOPE Renville County and Renville County Public Health for investing in treatment and recovery resources that directly support individuals and families impacted by substance use disorders in our communities.

Thank you for supporting recovery and helping us continue to create environments where healing can happen.
