Grand Haven Labor Day Bridge Walk 2026 - Monday, September 7th at 9:00 am

Start your Labor Day with a community tradition—the Grand Haven Labor Day Bridge Walk.
We’ll gather at the 3rd Street Bridge at 9:00 am to begin the walk together, making our way across the bridge and along the waterfront. The route takes participants all the way out to the end of the Grand Haven Pier for a turnaround, then concludes at Waterfront Stadium in downtown Grand Haven.

Prize drawings will be held at the end of the walk, so plan to stay and enjoy the celebration.
This event is free and open to all ages. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a beautiful morning along the waterfront.

Due to off and on rain showers, we are closing the GH Lighthouse Museum and Gift Shop for the rest of the day today, Saturday. September 5. We are planning to be open tomorrow, Sunday, September 6 from 10am-5pm and Monday, September 7 from 9:30am-1:30pm. Always, weather permitting. These are your last days to visit the GH Lighthouse Museum and Gift Shop until next year! Thank you for coming!

Well we're sorry to say, due to high wave action, the Grand Haven Pier has been closed. So, the Grand Haven Lighthouse Museum & Gift Shop will be closed today, Sunday, August 30. We hope you will come out and see us our last week open next week! We will also be open, Monday, September 7 from 9:30am-1:30pm during the Grand Haven 3rd Street Bridge Walk!

We are currently short-staffed for the upcoming shifts and are looking for volunteers to help fill the following gaps at the Grand Haven Lighthouse Museum and Gift Shop:

* Saturday, September 5: 10 am – 2 pm (2 people needed)

* Saturday, September 5: 1 pm – 5 pm (2 people needed)

* Sunday, September 6: 10 am – 2 pm (2 people needed)
