“1776 Gave Us a Nation … 1790 Gave Us Its Guardians” is the theme of this parade as we honor the men and women of the United States Coast Guard. Break out your best red, white, and blue! Get geared up and come on down for this parade for all ages.

Parade Route: Start at 5th St. & Franklin, travel west on Franklin to 1st St., north on 1st to Washington, and east on Washington to 5th St.

The Grand Parade is marching into the 2026 Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival!

One of the festival’s most cherished traditions, the Grand Parade brings together music, color, community spirit, and patriotic pride. This year’s theme, “1776 Gave Us A Nation – 1790 Gave Us Its Guardians,” celebrates our nation’s history and the legacy of the U.S. Coast Guard.

🏐 Get ready to serve, spike, and compete at the Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival Volleyball Tournament!

Join us on July 29 at 10:00 AM for a day of exciting beach volleyball action at Grand Haven State Park Beach. This tournament celebrates the service, camaraderie, and traditions that make the Coast Guard Festival special.

This event is open to active-duty and retired U.S. Coast Guard personnel and their family members ages 16 and older!

Teams will compete in a fast-paced 4-on-4 format, with registration available for both full teams and individual players.
