It was simply an honest misunderstanding, and we are so thankful that everything has worked out. We truly appreciate everyone who shared our post, reached out with kind words, and kept an eye out for it.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our wonderful community for your support and concern. The church, and especially the member who so graciously loaned us this sentimental piece, are incredibly grateful. Your kindness is a beautiful reminder of what a caring community we have.

We are asking for your help in locating a decorative metal palm tree that was recently taken from the front of Grand Bay Church of Christ.
We truly hope it was simply mistaken as an item that had been placed near our Blessing Box to be taken. The palm tree WAS NOT part of the Blessing Box. It was used to decorate the front entrance during our Vacation Bible School and was graciously loaned to us by a member of our congregation.
The palm tree is approximately 5 feet tall, made of metal, has a cement base, and had string lights wrapped around it.
This piece holds sentimental value to its owner, and we would simply like to return it to them.
If you happened to pick it up, or know where it may be, we kindly ask that it be returned to the church. No questions asked.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us spread the word. We appreciate our community and are hopeful this was just an honest misunderstanding.
