Today, on National Vietnam War Veterans Day, and always, we welcome home the heroes who may not have been accepted or respected upon their return home from combat.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice. We honor those still with us and remember those we lost.

Our 2026 theme draws inspiration from an unexpected source: a line from the film “Home Alone 2.” The quote, “Maybe they don't forget about you, but they forget to remember you,” underscores the importance of actively remembering the individuals who served, especially those whose stories risk being lost to time.

We want to thank everyone that came out to honor our Veterans at our Wreaths Across America service yesterday. It was a beautiful day and we appreciate everyone’s hard work to make this event a success. We are looking forward to 2026!

We are 1 day away from our Wreaths Across America service at the Grand Bay Cemetery! We hope to see you there, 12 noon Saturday, December 13th.
A few things to remember:
You may want to bring a chair - our service will last approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
Parking is on Cemetery road headed into the cemetery, make sure not to block anyone’s driveway.
Once our service is over, we will annouce for anyone that sponsored a wreath for their loved one and requested to place that wreath to head to your loved one’s grave, we will then invite all visitors and others to begin placing the wreaths. Veterans’ graves are marked with American flags, not all Veterans have a military headstone but will have a flag.
Each section of the cemetery have enough wreaths for that section placed for you to pull from. Choose your section and place your wreaths, pause and say that veteran’s name and as you place the wreath. It is going to be a beautiful day for our service, we are looking forward to seeing you there.

We are just two days away! Come join us, on Saturday December 13th at 12 noon. We will be gathering in the Grand Bay Cemetery for our 4th Wreaths Across America service honoring our Military and their families and placing wreaths on our Veterans’ graves. Each year we spotlight a Veteran buried in the cemetery. Here are our past Veteran Spotlights. This year we will stoplight Clifford “Clif” Eugene Keller (1937-2022) founder of Oak Hill Tree Farm and United States Air Force Veteran. Each a local hero, part of the fabric of our community leaving a lasting impact! 🇺🇸 Come join us!

Come join us Saturday, December 13th, Grand Bay Cemetery at 12 noon as we honor veterans buried in our local cemeteries. This is the 4th year for Wreaths Across America Grand Bay, we have a wonderful service planned and look forward to seeing each of you. Join us and in honoring our veterans, military families and make this event a tradition in December for Grand Bay and our local communities.
