Good news! We've got a couple someones interested in adopting Dixie! We'll be meeting with the applicants this week!
She's been here for about 4 years now with only a couple of inquiries that didn't work out.
She's SUCH a sweetheart! But what can I say, she's an american pit bull terrier, having been both neglected and abused, with the attention span and energy of a two year old hopped up on sugar😅❤️
Let's keep our fingers crossed that it's a match made in heaven! This little girl is ready for, and SO deserving of a forever home!
Meantime, we have 10 fosters that would appreciate SO much if anyone would like to donate food or help with cost of vetting!
If you'd like to donate food, I purchase the black value pack, available at either Grand Bay or St Elmo feed and Seed. However, we are grateful for anything.
Gift credits can also be purchased at these stores to go toward purchasing food and other supplies.
PLEASE be sure to let me know if you call in a purchase or credit, as the store employees are often very busy helping customers and this is a custom arrangement.
Only management is aware if it and cashiers don't always know to call when a donation has been made.
If you'd like to donate toward vetting, please call George Animal Hospital and ask them to apply the donation toward Good Mojo Life Advocates, or Regina Dunklin.
And as always, cash donations are greatly appreciated and can be made at:
Cash app: RDFosterfund
Or
PayPal: Regina Dunklin
A very important part of my rescue and fostering includes TRAINING.
Dixie had been in training for the entire four years I've had her. And she is doing GREAT!!!
When she first came to me, she couldn't be near a small animal without reacting aggressively.
Now she walks up to a cat, sniffs and walks calmly away🥰🥰🥰
I couldn't be more proud of her!!
And I couldn't do this without your support!
Thank you to everyone who has donated to help me give these pets the best possible life and to help me find amazing homes where they'll be loved and cherished!
