🐾 GO Clubs has been busy learning, serving, and loving on some very cute visitors! 🩵
At our last meeting, our girls were joined by the AdvoCat Academy from She’s All Cat, a program that educates youth about animal rescue and advocacy. The girls learned about important topics like TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), spay/neuter programs, pet adoption, responsible pet ownership, and how they can make a difference for animals in their own community.
Then they put that learning into action! Our girls made cozy cat blankets and assembled pet care bags for unhoused pet owners in the Phoenix area.
And, of course, one of the highlights of the evening was spending time with several cats and kittens! The girls got plenty of opportunities to play, cuddle, and help socialize the kittens as they prepare to become available for adoption.
We are especially grateful to AdvoCat Academy for making this such a meaningful experience for our girls. Thank you for generously sharing your time, knowledge, and passion for animal advocacy. And, of course, your adorable furry friends! 🐾 Our girls walked away with a better understanding of the needs of animals in our community and with the knowledge that they can be part of the solution.
Experiences like this are exactly what we hope to give our girls, and we are so thankful to community members who are willing to invest in them and help bring those lessons to life. 🩵
Thank you for helping to empower girls to see that they are never too young to make a difference!
