Please pray with us
Heavenly Father,
Our hearts are heavy, broken open by the devastating floods in Texas. We lift up every soul grieving in this moment—the parents still waiting for news, the families who have received the worst kind, the children who are scared, and the communities overwhelmed with loss.
Lord, we cry out to You as the God who sees, the God who weeps with us, and the God who never turns away. Wrap Your arms around every hurting heart. Make Your presence undeniable in the chaos. Let peace that surpasses all understanding hold them, even when understanding feels impossible.
We pray especially for the families of the girls from Camp Mystic. As search efforts continue, we ask for divine guidance for the responders, supernatural strength for the weary, and miraculous hope to pierce through the darkness.
Comfort those who mourn, Lord. Shelter them in Your love. And may the body of Christ rise up in compassion and practical support—not just now but in the long days of rebuilding ahead.
When the news is unthinkable, You are still near.
When the pain is unbearable, You carry us.
God, light the way where it feels dark.
Guide every step, every effort, every voice calling out.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen.
