The GSC Thrift Store will be closed tomorrow, June 9.

As many of you know, our store is run entirely by volunteers. During busier seasons like these, it can be challenging to maintain enough volunteer coverage to keep the store operating.

Unfortunately, due to a lack of available volunteers, we do not have sufficient staffing to open the store tomorrow. As a result, the GSC Thrift Store will be closed for the day.

We understand this may be an inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. We are incredibly grateful for the volunteers who make the store possible and for the community members who continue to support us.

If you have ever considered volunteering, now is a great time to get involved. Additional volunteer support helps us maintain regular hours and continue providing affordable goods and services to our community.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you back when we reopen on Saturday, June 13.

🎉 We’re back to accepting donations! 🎉

We’ve just received word that the construction near our thrift store has been completed. Donations can now be dropped off again—even when the store is closed!

As always, please place donations in the bins located outside the store. If you have a larger item that won’t fit in the bins, you may place it on one of the pallets next to them. This helps protect donations from weather-related damage and keeps everything organized.

We also ask that smaller items be bagged whenever possible. This makes it easier for our volunteers to sort and stock items for shoppers.

Thank you for your continued support. We appreciate your donations and look forward to seeing you in the store soon!

Closed to donations!

Due to the inclement weather this Friday and Saturday, we ask that you refrain from dropping off donations in our outdoor areas. If you must make any drop offs, please do so at our register during our open hours of 10am to 1pm on Saturday, June 6th.
