Our Outreach team has been busy this weekend!

From the Trunk or Treat Senior Fair at Oak Grove Senior Apartments to the Walk With Us to Prevent Su***de at Unidad Park and the Galilee Health Fair, our team has been out connecting with the community!

We’re grateful for every opportunity to share resources, build relationships & support the health and well-being of our neighbors throughout the Concho Valley.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🩷

Knowing what's normal for your body can help you recognize when something changes. Pay attention to changes in how your breasts look or feel, and talk with your healthcare provider if you notice something different.

Regular screenings are important, too. Talk with your provider about when you should start getting mammograms and how often you should be screened.

Small steps today can make a difference in your health.

We are ready for the rain! ☔

With heavy rain in the forecast over the next few days, now is a good time to stay weather aware & keep an eye on local conditions.

Take it slow on wet roads, never drive through flooded areas and stay safe out there, San Angelo!

A little more movement can go a long way.

Take a walk after dinner. Stretch while you watch TV. Get up and walk around the office after sitting for a while. Park a little farther away. Take the stairs when you can.

It doesn’t have to be a workout to count. Moving more and sitting less throughout your day can benefit your health - and small amounts of physical activity add up.

Every little bit counts.

Cindy Rebuck, APRN, FNP-C, one of our amazing pediatric providers, spent some time with Glenmore Elementary School's first graders today talking about the human body and how it works!

And they had questions! What are bones made of? Why do we blink? What does the heart do? Why do we bleed when we get a cut? Cindy was put to the test and had answers for all of them.

We always enjoy getting out into the community and spending time with our local students. Thanks for having us, Glenmore!
