Kathryn Glass and volunteer Glynda Barnes are at Fairview Farm Events 2nd Annual Garden Party today June 7, 2026, from 1:00pm-7:00pm supporting the Powhatan Christmas mother and Powhatan food pantry. This National Police Week, the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office joins communities across the country in honoring the law enforcement officers who serve with professionalism, courage, and dedication every day.

We also remember the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty and keep their families in our thoughts during this important week of remembrance.

A huge thank you to the Goochland County Sheriff's Office for such an incredible and eye-opening experience at the Sheriff's Academy!
As Executive Director for Goochland/Powhatan CASA, I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn more about the dedication, hard work, and heart that goes into keeping our community safe every day. It was a privilege to get a "behind the scenes" look at the vital work that our local sheriffs do. We are truly lucky to have such a professional and community-minded team serving Goochland!
