Ready to stretch, breathe, and take a little time for yourself? Join us TOMORROW from 1–2 PM for FREE Community Yoga! 🌿

🧘‍♀️ FREE COMMUNITY YOGA IS COMING TO GOOCHLAND! 🧘‍♂️

We’re excited to share that Goochland Powhatan Community Services has secured a grant to launch a new Community Wellness Program with FREE weekly yoga! 💚

In partnership with the YMCA, we’re bringing yoga to Pathways in Goochland, creating a welcoming space for movement, mindfulness, connection, and wellness.

🧘 All experience levels welcome — beginners to advanced!

No yoga experience needed —just come as you are and take some time for yourself.

Today is National Save a Life Day, a national day of action focused on making sure people have the knowledge and tools to respond to an opioid overdose. ❤️

Our Powhatan Mobile Outreach Team will be at Red Lane Exxon (2895 Anderson Hwy) from 9am - 2pm offering free naloxone and quick, hands-on education on how to use it.

Our friends at Goochland Powhatan Community Services will be at Goochland Restaurant (2966 River Rd W) from 8am -10am followed by a screening of the powerful film "Heroin(e)" at Pathways (3052 River Rd W) beginning at 2pm.

Naloxone is simple to use, and carrying it means you can be prepared to act when seconds matter. You don’t have to be a professional or know someone who uses opioids to carry it.

Swing by. Take a few minutes to learn. Carry naloxone. Save a life. 💜

📍 Stop by Goochland Restaurant tomorrow between 8:00–10:00 AM to connect with Goochland Powhatan Community Services (GPCS) staff who will be onsite providing:

✨ FREE Naloxone (Narcan)
✨ Naloxone education
✨ Information about how this lifesaving medication can help reverse an opioid overdose

Whether you’ve used naloxone before or have never seen it, everyone is welcome to stop by, ask questions, and learn.

You never know when knowing what to do could help save a life. 💜
