New Name - Same Friends - While our name, Gold Chicken Friends, is new, little else has changed. We remain a community of celebration, respect, friendship and faith. In Gold Chicken Friends, persons with disabilities are friends and teachers, not clients, patients, or service recipients. Luncheons, sports, charity events, advocacy, healthy living events, faith sharing, and all kinds of celebrations enhance life for friends of all abilities and their loved ones. We have great fun while forming relationships, support networks, community, and a sense of purpose and self-worth. All are welcome.
