We had delivery today of lunch meat and tuna. Thank you so much. I also had a call from Ms.Sharom from Rouses on Hwy 42 to come pick up some food. They gave us six or seven boxes of food. This is a great donation and we thank Rouses very much.

While we don't usually accept furniture because of our small space, I have a special request. We have a man who is having knee replacement in about a week and he needs a recliner to make it easier to get up and down. Please contact me here if you have one to donate. Thanks, Janell

Just a heads up for everyone.

These are the sweet Girl Scouts who helped us so much with their trunk or treat donation and all of the food that they collected.

We have a special group of people to thank today. The Girl Scouts of troops 10205, 10286, and 10641 held a trunk or treat event in Autumn View subdivision and collected groceries for us. These girls are living the Girl Scout slogan, "Do a good turn daily. We want to thank them, their leaders, their parents and guardians, and the people who live in Autumn View and helped as well. Groups like this let us know that our world is still a kind and caring place.

I have a lot of people thank today. Ms. Janet, who also happens to be my sister-in-law sent cereal bars and a lot of other things as well as clothes and shoes for a special little foster kid.

Someone else who doesn't want to be mentioned by name also sent clothing for this child as well as other things. They also sent gift certificates for meat for Thanksgiving.

Another wonderful person who I'm also not allowed to mention is sending us more certificates for meat. New Song church has done this also. Our clients will have a happy Thanksgiving dinner because of y'all's generousity.

Ms. Gwen sent much needed underwear. It's always a surprise what
Amazon delivers to me.

Lots of people dropped of clothing and food today.

Hwy. 44 Paint & Body has a collection box in their lobby for us and today delivered some really nice clothing to us.

Thank you to each and every one of you. The kindness and generosity of the people of Ascension never ceases to amaze me. What a wonderful place to live. God bless you all.

We had a great delivery today of fruit snacks, pop tarts tuna and goldfish. Thank you so much whoever you are.
I always try to thank the people who have stuff delivered so that you know it arrived. We are also very grateful to the people who drop off food, clothing and other items to the pantry. Sometimes we can barely get around because we have had so many drop offs. That's a good problem to have. We are in need of men's clothing especially right now. We appreciate what you all do to help the needy in the parish. God bless you all.
