Visitation at 9:30 am. Service at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Serenity Oaks Memorial Park in Prairieville.

My Daddy fought the good fight, he has finished his race. I know he entered through the gates of heaven with a “well done thy good and faithful servant, you may enter in”.

On Wednesday we brought him home from the hospital with hospice. He wanted to be home surrounded with his family and not in a hospital. We honored his wish. I thank God we were able to take him back home. Yesterday evening my Daddy took his last breath surrounded by his loving wife and his children.

My Daddy was a special man; a friend to many, an amazing faithful husband, a loving father, a proud Paw Paw, a follower of Jesus and a cowboy at heart. Our world will never be the same without my Daddy in it. Although our hearts are broken, our spirits are at peace. We know the Lord’s promise has been fulfilled and he is in a place with no more pain, suffering, tears and heartache. Ultimately he is healed and worshipping our Savior and I know I have a place next to him someday.

Thank you for your heartfelt messages, love and prayers. The outpouring of love is our refuge at this time. Please continue to cover our family in prayer as we prepare to say our final goodbyes and celebrate his life.

I love you Daddy and I will always be your little girl. Thank you for helping me become the woman I am today❤️❤️❤️

Today Earl had a drs appt with his oncologist. It went very well. His bloodwork looked good and he gained 10 pounds. The dr was very pleased with the progress. He will go again in a month for more bloodwork and a PET scan on July 16th. The best was he said he could visit with our kids and grandkids 😃. He was so excited. The dr told him that would be a good medicine. Still warned us about crowds right now and he still needs to wear a mask but he is fine with that. Please keep the prayers coming!! He is feeling better but still not 100%. We are believing for complete healing.

Update on Dad:

Today Dad saw his oncologist to receive his PET scan results. All of the cancer that was present in multiple tissues/organs is currently “inactive/dying” or not lighting up on the scans which is a “drastic and great response” per his oncologist. Dad had his 6th chemo treatment today and will have a 7th in 2 weeks. That will likely be his last chemo treatment!

We are thankful for this response, but guarded because we know this type of cancer has a high rate of reoccurring in less than a year. So, we are asking our family and friends to continue to pray and believe with us that his body will be healed, restored and he will be able to regain some normalcy in life.

Thank you all for the outpouring of love and support. We appreciate your prayers and your kindness❤️
