🎃👻 TODAY IS THE BIG DAY! 🐾🧡

Looking for something fun to do with the family on Halloween? Come hang out with us at the Gonzales Main Street SPOOK-TACULAR! 🎃

We will be there with some of our adorable adoptable pups who are hoping to steal a few hearts (and maybe find their forever families)! 🐶❤️

📍 Downtown Gonzales

There will be trick-or-treating, a costume contest, and plenty of Halloween fun for the whole family!

Even if you're not looking to adopt, stop by and give our pups some love! They always enjoy getting out of the shelter, meeting new people, and getting a little extra attention. 🥰

The Downtown Spooktacular is in just a few short hours! 👻

Please note that there will be various Main Street closures beginning at 4:30 this afternoon and will reopen around 7:30 PM.

The closures will affect the following intersections:
- St. Lawrence Street and St. James Street
- St. Lawrence Street and St. Joseph Street
- St. George Street and St. Joseph Street
- St. George Street and St. Paul Street
- St. Paul Street near St. Francis Street

Please plan accordingly and we hope to see you at the Downtown Spooktacular beginning at 5:00 tonight.

We’ll see you along Saint Lawrence and Saint Joseph streets around 10:45 AM as we show hometown support. 🧡

Gonzales, it’s time to show some hometown support for our Apache Band as they head to Pflugerville for their UIL Area Competition!

Let’s line the streets of downtown beginning around 10:45 AM along Saint Lawrence and Saint Joseph streets to cheer them on as they make their way through town.

Spend $35 or more and you’ll get a FREE Halloween mystery goodie bag! 👻

And these aren’t your ordinary trick-or-treat bags! Every bag has at least one squishy tucked inside(some have more), plus a little sweet treat! 🤩

Mamas, here’s your excuse to treat yourself and bring home a little something for the kiddos! Or keep the goodie bag for yourself. We won’t tell! 🤪

So… we put the Christmas tree up before Thanksgiving, right?🎄

The Gonzales Beautification Advisory Board has been hard at work raising funds for a brand-new 28-foot Christmas tree, and thanks to the generosity of donors, the tree was purchased entirely through donations! The work doesn’t stop there. Dedicated volunteers are hard at work building and fluffing the tree, which will make its debut this holiday season!
