Sweet Rosie has found herself looking for a new home, and we’re hoping our amazing community can help! ❤️
Rosie is a 3-year-old Dachshund mix, weighing around 32 pounds. She’s a fun, active girl with plenty of personality and energy! Unfortunately, her rescuer didn’t quite realize what they were getting into with this busy little lady, and Rosie now needs a home that better matches her active lifestyle.
Our kennels are currently FULL, so we are unable to bring Rosie into the shelter. This is a courtesy post, and Rosie will remain with her current owner while we help spread the word.

Now Reveille gets to settle into the good life while she grows out that beautiful, lush coat we know she’s capable of. Just wait… this girl is going to blossom into the absolutely stunning Collie we’ve always known was underneath. 🥹🐾
And her new mom? An absolute DREAM of an adopter. The kind of person who reminds us exactly why we do what we do. ❤️

Our sweet Riley and Wanderlust are officially off to live their BEST feline lives EVER — TOGETHER! 🏡🐾
There’s nothing we love more than watching two of our kitties head out the door knowing they have a lifetime of love, warm beds, sunny windows, and adventures ahead of them.

Our animals want to give a HUGE shout-out to Moose Lodge #2101 in Gold Beach! 🫎🍝
The check from their amazing spaghetti dinner fundraiser arrived, and we are beyond grateful! Every plate of spaghetti served, every person who showed up, and every dollar raised helps us continue caring for the animals who need us most. 🐶🐱❤️
To the wonderful members of Moose Lodge #2101 and everyone in our community who came out to eat, visit, and support our animals — THANK YOU!

The passion, dedication, and daily drama of running an animal shelter is something most people will never see.
There is no such thing as a normal day. You are always on alert. Dogs coming in at all hours. Emergency phone calls. Animals abandoned with nowhere else to go. Medical emergencies. Tough decisions. Heartbreak followed by incredible moments of happiness.
You go to bed thinking about the animals and wake up thinking about them. Your phone is never really off, because you know the next call could be an animal that desperately needs help.
Some days you celebrate an adoption and cry happy tears. Other days you wonder how you're possibly going to find room for one more—but somehow, you do.
Behind every shelter door are people giving their time, hearts, energy, and sometimes their sanity to animals who have nobody else.
It's exhausting. It's emotional. It's unpredictable.
But then you watch a scared dog finally wag its tail, a forgotten cat curl up in someone's arms, or an animal walk out the door with their forever family...
And you remember exactly why you keep doing it. ❤️🐾
Shelter life isn't just a job. It's a life you live 24/7.

🐾💙 Clark says, “Make sure you get my good side!” 📸
Clark and his dad stopped by today to officially finalize his adoption! 🎉🏡
This handsome boy has been on his very best behavior for the past week—and according to Dad, he did EVERYTHING perfectly! ⭐️🐶
But before heading home for good, Dad brought Clark back to the shelter for one very important reason… to say goodbye to all his friends who helped him along the way. ❤️
These are the moments we live for. Clark came through our doors waiting for his person, and today he walked out knowing exactly where he belongs.
