A non-profit organization supporting the youth of Central Curry, Oregon academically and athletically through local fundraising efforts and support.

The Gold Beach Youth Fund was established in response to the Central Curry School District's Strategic Planning Committee needs assessment. The intent of our foundation is to increase revenue and funding to enable improvements in the educational and extracurricular resources of Gold Beach youth.

An all-volunteer army made the impossible feel possible this weekend! 💪🛝 New playground equipment is nearly complete at both of Riley Creek Elementary’s main playgrounds.

Community is the heartbeat of our schools—and this weekend, our community stepped up in a BIG way for our students. ❤️

🛝🌟 Building More Than a Playground — Building Community! 🌟🛝 Playground 2026!

This week marked the exciting beginning of a brand-new playground project at Riley Creek School! 💙💛 Thanks to an incredible group of volunteers, the first steps toward rebuilding and improving playground equipment are officially underway.
This effort is a true community collaboration between the Riley Creek PTO and the Gold Beach Youth Fund, bringing together neighbors, parents, community members, and supporters who believe our kids deserve amazing places to learn, play, and grow. 🏃‍♀️

Volunteers are the heartbeat of every great community. ❤️ They donate their time, talents, and energy to make the world a better place—and this project is proof of what can happen when people come together for a common purpose.
A HUGE thank you to the crew who rolled up their sleeves and got this project started! 👏🔨🦺 We look forward to welcoming even more helping hands in the coming months as we continue creating an incredible play space for local students.

🏀🏐⚽ Investing in healthy, active, and engaged students right here in our community! 💪📚

The Gold Beach Youth Fund proudly teamed up with Gold Beach Jr./Sr. High School to support the Physical Education program led by Mr. Bowers! 🙌

Through a financial assistance request, Mr. Bowers identified supplies needed to continue building a fun, active, and robust PE experience for students. From teamwork and sportsmanship to healthy lifestyles and confidence-building, PE plays an important role in student success both inside and outside the classroom. 🏃‍♂️⛹️‍♀️🏋️

At Gold Beach Youth Fund, our mission is to enhance the educational and extracurricular experience of Central Curry County youth through access to resources. Supporting dedicated educators and programs that directly impact local students is what it’s all about! ❤️

Classroom resources turn curiosity into real engagement—and this is what that looks like in action.

The Gold Beach Youth Fund partnered with the Central Curry School District to help bring 30 new Chromebooks into Mr. Simonson’s classroom. These devices will support his technology electives, life and physical science, forensics, and horticulture classes—expanding what’s possible for students every single day.

As Mr. Simonson shared:
“In short, I cannot fulfill my curricular duties with limited access to quality machines. I need dedicated devices for use in my electives.”

And now—he has them.

There’s nothing better than backing a local teacher and watching students light up with excitement for what’s ahead. 💡 These aren’t just Chromebooks—they’re tools for creativity, problem-solving, and building confidence in the next generation.

⚾️ STEPPING UP TO THE PLATE FOR OUR KIDS! 🌱🙌

The Gold Beach Youth Fund is proud to support Gold Beach Little League with a $1,500 Financial Assistance grant dedicated to field work and ongoing maintenance. 🛠️🌿

Behind every great season is a team of incredible volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to create a safe and fun place for kids to play. There’s no better feeling than being able to support the work of those who show up for our youth day in and day out. ❤️

These improvements help ensure that our local ballfields remain a place where:
⚾️ Skills are built
🤝 Friendships are formed
🌟 Confidence grows

🚀 BUILDING CREATIVITY IN THE CLASSROOM! ✂️🛠️

The Gold Beach Youth Fund is excited to support hands-on learning for Mr. Lee’s Riley Creek 6th grade class! 🙌

Through a $2,500 financial assistance request, we helped bring creativity to life by purchasing:
✨ 10 Chomp Saws – kid-safe cardboard cutting tools
✨ $383.50 in classroom project supplies to keep the ideas flowing

There’s nothing better than backing a local teacher and seeing students light up with excitement for what’s ahead. 💡 These tools aren’t just equipment—they’re opportunities for creativity, problem-solving, and confidence building.
