David G. Ouellet Division, NSCC David G. Ouellet Div. Sea Cadets is a non-profit youth development and leadership program. The David G. Ouellet Division of the U.S.

Naval Sea Cadet Corps is a non-profit youth development and leadership program for ages 10 through the completion of high school. We provide compelling, training programs that instill the values of teamwork, discipline, camaraderie, and service through our passionate all-volunteer force and our partnerships with our nation's armed forces. The program will teach them how to become a "good shipmate"

and to eventually lead groups of their peers. These life skills will inspire them to become leaders in their schools, their communities, and into adulthood. We train at the Gloucester Veterans Service Office located at 12 Emerson Ave, Gloucester, Ma.

Today marked our last drill of the office drill year and our End of the Year Awards Ceremony. As you can see from the photos, we handed out many certificates for awards that the Cadets had earned throughout the year. They all put in a ton of work and I am very proud of them.

We are very sad to loose PO1 Smullin and SN Taibot who are graduating out of the program and heading off to college next fall. Both were excellent leaders and have put many years into the program. I wish them all the best in their studies.

We have many Cadets heading off to Summer Trainings and still many events planned this month and July for Community Service.

Bravo Zulu Everyone!

Cadets testing their Strength and Self Confidence on the Indoor Rock Wall at the La Vida Adventure Camp today at Gordon College. This is our 5 year here and the staff has been nothing but positive and supportive of our Cadets helping them build up their confidence. Next year we will transition back to their outdoor High Ropes Course for our newer Cadets who have not yet experienced it yet.

Great drill today! Started the morning with some good PT with some of the Cadets passing their spring PRT. Day classes consisted of how to navigate Quarterdeck, Polaris and our Google Classroom Page by PO3 Attachi. Next SA Linehan gave a presentation on the effects of Drugs and Alcohol on your body. We then had Knot Tying practice for the Cadets getting ready to attend summer trainings. A visit from Fish Box Derby Committee Member Victor Anido stopped by with a donation to the division for all the help we provided during the 2025 Fish Box Derby in September. And we ended the drill by presenting RC Wallace his League Cadet of the Year Award that he was nominated for back in November. Not back for a beautiful May Sunday!
