🎉 That’s a wrap, Bushy Bears! 🎉

Congratulations to all of our students, staff, and families on another amazing school year.

A special congratulations to our 5th graders as they head off to middle school. We know you’ll do great things!

We also wish Mrs. Hogan and Mrs. Bruner a happy retirement and thank them for their years of dedication to BPES. Best of luck to Mrs. Rutledge as she begins her next chapter at Swansfield Elementary.

BPES students earned and redeemed over 200,000 Bushy Bucks this year through PBIS—representing 200,000 positive choices, acts of kindness, perseverance, responsibility, and Bushy Bear pride! 💙🐻

Memory boards for Mrs. Hogan, Mrs. Rutledge, and Mrs. Bruner are hanging in the front hallway. Students, families, and staff are invited to stop by and leave a note, favorite memory, or words of encouragement.

TODAY IS THE DAY!

Join us tonight for the Bushy Park PTA End of Year Carnival!

✍️ All participating children must have a signed waiver. Wristbands will be distributed at the check-in table, and all participants must wear a wristband to participate in activities.

Important Reminders:
• This is not a drop-off event — adult supervision is required.
• Rain or shine — the fun is on!
• Bring a water bottle and dress for the heat and possible rain. 💦☔

We'll have inflatable attractions, games, delicious food trucks, snowballs, popcorn, cotton candy, and more!

We are still in need of some volunteers to ensure that tonight runs smoothly!

🎪 Calling All Moms, Dads, Aunts, Uncles, Teachers and Middle & High School Siblings! 🎪

We need your help to make our End of Year Carnival this Thursday a success!

Volunteer to help run a game, assist with crafts, or help keep the fun going for our BPES students. No experience needed—just a smile and a willingness to help!

🐸 Leaping Lizards
Launch lizards through the air and try to land them on logs and lily pads. Simple, silly, and surprisingly challenging!

🐠 Fish Bowl Frenzy
Bounce it, toss it, bank it off the backboard—whatever it takes to get your ping pong balls into the fish bowls. (No fish involved. 😅)

⚾ Baseball Toss
Step up to the mound and test your arm as players try to fire a strike into the catcher’s mitt.

🏈 Football Toss
Think you’ve got a cannon? Go for the Hail Mary and see if you’ve got what it takes to be BPES’s next star quarterback.

🏀 Basketball Shootout
A fast-paced head-to-head challenge where players race to sink baskets and send balls into their opponent’s lane. The first player to clear their side wins! This inflatable game is always a crowd favorite.

🎨 Arts & Crafts Tables
Prefer to stay indoors? We also need volunteers to help our younger students with simple arts and crafts activities.

✅ Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family members welcome
✅ Middle and high school students can earn service hours
