Debbie worked for 38 years guiding and instructing therapeutic riding lessons at TRRC. After countless hours of changing lives, she has decided it was time to retire and move on to the next stages of her life.

Help Wanted!!
The Therapeutic and Recreational Riding Center, a safe and upscale environment located in Glenwood, MD, has several positions open, including:
1) Part-time therapeutic riding instructor - must be willing to go through the PATH program. Able to work with children and adults with a wide range of physical, mental, and emotional disabilities.
2) Part-time stable hand - help with morning and evening feeding, mucking out stalls, and other projects as assigned.
3) Part-time barn manager - help with invoices, volunteer coordination, schedule clients, horses care and other projects as assigned.
4) Volunteers—We really need dedicated and consistent volunteers to keep our clients scheduled. Tasks would include: Grooming and tacking horses, lead and side-walkers for the lessons, cleaning and other barn duties.

Volunteers Needed
TRRC, Inc. is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the therapeutic riding program.

Volunteer opportunities include but not limited to:
- GROOMING AND TACKING HORSES
- LEADING HORSES
- SIDE-WALKING
- ASSISTING STUDENTS with horses before and after lessons
- GARDENING, WORKING on trails

Wednesdays between 3pm-7pm and Saturday 9am-2pm
No experience is necessary…
Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age…

Anyone age 14 or older can volunteer at TRRC. We ask that our volunteers dedicate at least 2-3 hours per week to their activities at the Center. Our services rely on punctual and consistent volunteers who are committed to working with the horses and those riders they might assist in lessons.

Job Summary - Responsible for providing therapeutic riding instruction according to PATH Intl. and TRRC guidelines with the utmost attention given to maintaining participant, volunteer, and equine safety. PATH Intl CTRI credential required.

Applicants should be motivated, work well with others, have clear communication skills, have reliable transportation, and be self starters. Part-time positions available as well 2, 3, 4,5 days per week!
