🌱Visited 20 project sites
🌱Installed 577 native plants
🌱Installed 516 sq ft of conservation landscapes
🌱Engaged in 6 green industry exposure & career training events
🌱Graduated 34 participants from our READY & EcoAmbassador programs
🌱Engaged with 67 volunteers
🌱Managed 2.4 acres of forests through invasive species removal

🎉 Happy 1 year EcoAnniversary, Abby Lehman, Workforce Programs Specialist!

🌿Abby first joined our team through the UpLift program before stepping into her current role. Since then, she has become an essential part of our Programs team, helping plan, develop, and launch our workforce development programs.

🦋 This summer, Abby played a major role in expanding our capacity to support increased programming, including helping coordinate 2 separate EcoAmbassador cohorts serving Howard County, and for the first time in Baltimore.

💚 We're so grateful for the energy, organization, and dedication Abby brings to our team. We're excited to see all that she'll continue to accomplish!

🌿 We’re Hiring: Conservation Project Manager!

🌱 Howard EcoWorks is looking for an experienced conservation or ecological landscaping professional to join our Operations Team and help lead restoration projects from planning through completion.

In this role, you’ll:
🌳 Manage conservation projects, budgets, scopes, and schedules
🤝 Build relationships with landowners, HOAs, agencies, and community partners
🌱 Lead and support conservation field teams
📋 Develop project proposals and coordinate project delivery
✨ Help grow Howard EcoWorks’ conservation services and partnerships
