🍂 A New Club Year, A Heart for Service! 💙

Last month, we kicked off a new Club year with our annual Kickoff Dinner — a wonderful evening filled with friendship, fellowship, and purpose!

Members enjoyed a delicious, hearty meal catered by Heavenly Cuisine before gathering for the general membership meeting to welcome the year ahead.

The evening ended on a heartwarming note as members came together to fill 50 beautifully decorated bags with an assortment of snacks, a handwritten card, and a cuddly Caring Bear. 🧸💌 Each bag was lovingly prepared for a family staying at the Ronald McDonald House Pittsburgh, offering a little extra comfort, kindness, and encouragement when it’s needed most.

We’re proud to begin another year of making a difference in our community, one thoughtful act of kindness at a time! ❤️

Our amazing ladies spent countless hours sewing Caring Bears this summer, creating cuddly companions to bring comfort and smiles to Shaler Area kindergarteners as they celebrated their very first days of school.

What a wonderful way to welcome our newest Titans to the district! 🎉

Caring Bears are just one of the many ways the Glenshaw Century Club gives back to children in our community. Want to help? Donating fabric or funds to the Caring Bears program is easy! Visit our website to learn more and help us keep spreading a little extra love. ❤️

Recently, a group of Club members lovingly packaged our handcrafted Caring Bears and delivered them to all four Shaler Area primary schools. 🧸💙

These special bears will be shared with each incoming kindergarten student, offering a little comfort, kindness, and a warm welcome as they begin their school journey! 📚✨

Last month’s A&E event took a group of our Club ladies to Randyland on Pittsburgh’s North Side! 🎨

Randy welcomed the ladies with a fascinating history of the museum, followed by a wonderful tour. Afterwards, everyone gathered for a delicious lunch at The Rear End Gastropub in Etna.

A special thank-you to co-hosts, Kathy Barkovich and Mary Ellen Sullivan, for helping make this a memorable event! 💕

If you've visited Crawford Pool this summer, you may have noticed the new blue benches! 💙 The Glenshaw Century Club is proud to sponsor one of these benches as a small way to support a place where our community comes together to relax, connect, and enjoy the summer. ☀️ We hope it serves as a welcoming spot for families, friends, and neighbors for many seasons to come! 😊

The Glenshaw Century Club held its annual Installation Dinner last week to welcome new members to our board. Thank you to Ruckus Café for hosting us! A very special thank you to our members for continuing to give so much of their time to our club and our community. 🥰

A few of our Century Club ladies were on hand at Shaler Area School District’s 5th Annual 143 Day of Kindness last night with various community organizations.

Heather and Martha were representing the Scouts, Linda was with the Friends of the Shaler North Hills Library, and Eileen was talking to people about the Shaler Area Education Foundation.
